There are several types of Employment Medicals that an employer or self employed person may require as a part of their hiring process or ongoing health and safety programmes at work. Here are some of what we have to offer; pre-employment medicals, employment medicals, fit to work medicals, and bespoke medicals.

Many industries can be classed as hazardous, exposing employees to noise or vibration, solvents, fumes, dusts, biological agents and other substances. In such instances, Health Surveillance is a mandatory and regulated requirement and is the process of monitoring (Respiratory, Audiometry, Skin, Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome – HAVS) the health of workers or individuals who have been exposed to specific hazards in the workplace.

Attendance and Absence Management Referrals can provide several benefits for both employers and employees, including advice on adjustments and restrictions to work, reduced absenteeism, improved productivity, improved employee morale, early detection of health issues, and compliance with employment law.

Health Screening provides an approach to assessing and advising on individual’s health and wellbeing. Health Screening can be structured and organised in a way that helps people understand more about their own personal health, to help find potential problems before they become one. It involves the use of tests, assessments or evaluations to detect potential health problems or diseases before symptoms appear. It is typically used with people who are not experiencing any symptoms, but are at risk of developing health issues such as certain types of cancer, heart disease or diabetes. We offer these services as home tests, in our clinic, at your place of work. Investigations, can be followed up with face to face and online consultations.

Health Promotion gives employees all the knowledge, tools, and training they need to feel confident and motivated to take their health and wellness into their own hands. Drug and Alcohol Testing is necessary for some businesses and advisable for most. There are several benefits associated with Drug and Alcohol Testing in the workplace, including improved workplace safety, reduced absenteeism, increased productivity, legal compliance and a positive workplace culture. People who care about their own personal health and wellbeing, and are looking for faster tailored access to private GP services, choose NPH Me.

This pay as you go option, provides our clients with access to a list of health care services, including health screening, health checks and investigations, and ear wax removal service in addition to a range of self-tests and professional support services.

Our private primary care consultations are intended to enable individuals to consult a GP conveniently and on their own terms if seeking onward referral, advice, second opinions, completion of private paperwork, or short term/one-off episodes of care.

We provide face to face and remote consultations with an experienced GP who is able to provide up-to-date, evidence-informed advice in relaxed and comfortable surroundings, or with the time needed if remotely, in a confidential and patient-centered manner.
